What can we do for you or your Company?
Power Management Systems

Power Management is an area of the motor vehicle industry that is moving very fast at the moment, but for a long while either ignored, not explored or just misunderstood. With the advent of mobile phone technologies for example we are now seeing individuals, also large and small companies needing or wanting to be able to keep in contact with thier vehicles or staff 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The vehicles they drive aren't equipped to handle the power requirement some of these communication systems need to keep them running, so the system doesn't work or the vehicle doesn't start because the battery goes flat!
This is where a Power Management system comes into play. For example, by adding a simple extra battery charged automatically from the vehicles alternator you now have the extra capacity to run equipment such as a tracking system, or a job dispatch unit that needs to stay live all the time, even when the vehicle is left for periods of downtime. But when the vehicle is needed, will always start and get you off to work.
Seen left is an example of what can be done if needed to keep your vehicles on the road.

Need to start 24v vehicles from a 12v Service Van? Not a problem any more!!!

For a long time jump starting a 24v HGV from a smaller 12v vehicle was difficult to do safely but wasn't impossible. But now it's easy and safe, for both vehicles!
Pictured left is a completed picture of a 12-24volt Jump Start System we had custom designed, made and fitted to a large recovery companies new service vehicle. This system enables the technician to select either 12v or 24v from a push of a button to power a non-starting vehicle directly from this service van. All of this with the knowledge that there is no chance of damaging either the customers stricken vehicle or his own. The system is fully automatic and when not being used to jumpstart broken down vehicles, it charges the vehicles auxiliary batteries, so they are fully charged and ready for the next emergency!
The company are so impressed with how easy to use and how well it works, they now have had an additional 4 of these systems fitted into various vehicles in thier fleet and as new vehicles are ordered to either replace older vehicles or add to the fleet they are fitted with this invaluable system as standard!!
